These work best, as stated in description, with lighter footwear. They will keep your feet toasty in the tree stand without added weight. Great for sporting events also, great product.
I was a little skeptical at first because I had used the big bulky style and could not imagine these thin covers working as well... They DID. i sat in a blind for 4 hours in 20° temps and my feet stayed warm. One day I took the Arctic Shields off an hour before I was going to quit hunting for the day; I could feel my feet quickly get cold within 15 minutes of taking the Shields off. They are easy to walk in, I know they are not intended for long walks but to go 40 or 50 yards there is not a problem so I am pleasantly surprised by my Arctic Shields.
Have not used these yet but know several friends who have and they all swear by them. Tried them on my hunting boots and they fit like a glove ( I wear a size 9 rubber insulated boot ) and the large was perfect. Quality looks good and fairly light weight. Would not put them on till in the stand though not meant to walk around in the woods with.
